If you're an international student planning to study in India, one of the essential steps is applying for a Student Registration certificate / Residential Permit (RC/RP) through the FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office) website. Fill in the registration form. Fields with an asterisk (*) are required. Complete the CAPTCHA (the code in the blue box — just type the same letters and symbols into the box beneath) .
Check your email for a one-time password (OTP), copy it, enter the CAPTCHA again, and verify your email address.
Set a password for your new account.
Go back to the login page, enter your email, password, CAPTCHA, and log in.
Click on “Fresh/New Online Application Submission”.
Enter your details and check the registration box. When the pop-up appears, click “Yes.”

Once inside the form, fill in all the required fields. Each field includes helpful labels explaining what to write.

You will receive an email confirming receipt.
