What is FRRO?
The Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) is an office that registers foreign nationals who are staying in India for more than 180 days.
NOTES
- π If you are a new student, you must register within 14 days of your arrival date, or you will incur a fine.
- π All registration procedures are online, and you only need to visit the office if you are asked to do.

Financial penalty regarding overstay ( After your course ends)
Blacklisting: In serious cases or long overstays, you could be blacklisted or face issues re-entering India in the future.
